I was born in İstanbul in 18th February 1956. After graduating from secondary school in 1972, I started my career as a typographer. I am married with two children. My interest on birds appeared with pigeons firstly when I was fifteen. Since I was twenty-six, I am breeding canaries. I had bred
Norwich
, Gloster and
Yorkshire
and still breeding Crest. I had been working as referee and also consultant of referees from the first day of professional canary breeding in
Turkey
. Also, I am still breeding pigeons. I have won many prizes in national competitions. For many years, I had been a member of Board of Directors of Istanbul Canary Lovers Association. Today, I am a member of Anatolian Ornithology Association's Board of Directors as Vice President.
